A season of giving: Jann Robinson

Please excuse the deviation from the regular posting, but I have met Jann and in the couple of times meeting her, she has made a big impression on me. Please consider taking the time to donate during this time of giving and family. –DW

Dynamic widow in business keep her spirit when life is throwing her a curve ball
Jann Robinson with her husband have began Backstage Catering in 1995.
Jann lost her husband 3 years ago to cancer as she was 5 months pregnant with their
6th child.

Jann Robinson is indeed a remarkable woman. She is also one with a lot of pride
and drive. Nevertheless, due to the circumstances of her situation,
she is in danger of losing the home that she and her six children
share to foreclosure. In spite of her best efforts to maintain the
catering business or to find a full-time position, Jann is having
great difficulty supporting her young family.

The community and her friends are rallying behind her to host a tag
sale at Mountain Brook Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 8 am -
4pm.

If you have items you would like to donate, please feel free to drop
them off in my office and I will make sure that they make it to the
sale. If you don’t have items to donate but are looking for some great
loot and household items (I have seen the things that have been
donated so far and there is a lot of great stuff), please plan to come to the
Mountain Brook Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 8 am -
4pm.

A fund is set up at Red Mountain bank in care for her, to help her through this curve.

The Jann Robinson Fund
Bank locations: Mountain Brook & 280
