<p>1) Birmingham is a leader on the Social Media Scene &#8211; Now, that&#8217;s not to take anything away from the Mobile community. However, many people there were not even on Twitter, which is a staple in the Birmingham Social Media Community. But the important thing is that people want to build that community (via the tech community), much like Birmingham has built it&#8217;s community. </p>
<p>2) Great People, Better Ideas &#8211; I was floored by the amount of great people and the ideas they are making a reality. Just take a look at <a href="http://twitter.com/ivey">@ivey</a> and his idea for a <a href="http://twitter.com/twitpay">twitter payment system</a>. I can&#8217;t wait to see all the great things that will come out from <a href="http://twitter.com/barcamp_mobile">@barcamp_mobile</a>!</p>
<p>3) A state-wide Barcamp? Now that needs to be a 2 day event! &#8211; I&#8217;ve seen just a couple of posts on Twitter about it but what about a <a href="http://twitter.com/#search?q=%23barcampbama">#barcampbama</a>. What do you think? Held in Montgomery, two-day event where people come together for great networking, converstation, and ideas. This could help Alabama become one of the &#8220;hotspots&#8221; in the Social Media space&#8230;</p>
