Well, I was working on things when I heard a teaser for something about social media website from the anchor. Well, it’s not quite social media, but it is a pretty good step to it. Not to mention that it’s hooked up to a Facebook Fan Group.

The tagline of the site is “Save Alabama PACT serves as an open facilitator of information, ideas, discussions, and network of all participants, supporters, and legislators working towards a resolution to the current issues facing the Alabama Prepaid Affordable College Tuition program.”
Quite a mouthful. But it does serve as a great place to see just what’s happening with the ongoing PACT situation. The message boards are light, but I expect them to pick up after a little exposure from ABC 33/40 and if they jump on twitter.
We’ll keep an eye on this website and see about possibly getting an interview w/ Patti Lambert, the site admin.
